we stepped in accidently as all other locations where closed in the evening. Asked for any food. Got Steaks and Cranachan at its best. Returnd next year for a night. Had Feasant-Breat in parma ham and where not disappointed again. Hotel is not special but cheap. Staff very helpful, warm and friendly. Nice Guests everywhere. We'll be definitely back.

Clean and tidy, problems with the food, but fantastic staff resolved the issues. Would recommend if you are on a budget. Hotel is located next to the railway which was quite busy on a Tuesday night. Had to keep the window closed but slept perfectly.

Went to Kingussie over last weekend and spent Monday night in the 'Sili' as it is know by the locals on my birthday with a table of 8, right in the middle of the bar! We all had starters & main courses. I had the goats cheese starter, a favourite, followed by venison which I have to say was just... More

I was recommended this little restaurant by the lovely Jennifer who runs Homewood Lodge B & B along the road from this place. I took my son, who wanted to try his first steak. The waitress was lovely and was very accomodating when I asked if he could have a smaller portion than what was on the menu. The food... More

My wife and i recently stayed here for 3 nights to take advangtage of it being close to the skiing (Cairngorms is about a 30 min drive oversall). We found this hotel really good, the rooms were clean and modern, the staff very helpful, and the breakfasts lovely. As many have mentioned the restaurant is fantastic with a small but... More

We had a full lunch at the Silverfjord today and it was excellent in quality and value. The service here is always friendly and there is plenty of local support without the place being overcrowded. The use of space is well thought out and this makes it easy for them to accommodate a large number of parties at once, as... More

We recently held our team meeting at The Silverfjord Hotel. The staff were attentive, the food was tasty and the room was bright with the added bonus - the sound of the Gynack river - perfect for our needs.

We stayed at this hotel and toured the surrounding villages and the Cairngorms. It was warm and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant provided variety and good meals and we found the quality better than anywhere else in the town. The hotel was quiet but central - the railway station was nearby (though we rarely...
