We had a lovely time at the Auckland we could not have done this for the price if we had driven ourselves. The room we had was spacious with a reasonable bath and shower and very clean lots of evidence of recent refurbishment to ceilings etc. Thankyou to the Staff for making our stay so pleasant.

Just returned from 4day coach trip to the auckland hotel. Great base only a couple of minutes walk to old shanklin and beach. Rooms are basic with small tv and tea/coffee facility. Room had en suite. Thank you all again for a really special experience, this was my second visit and had an even better stay. The rooms have been upgraded and now have a shower, decorated with a good homely feel, comfy beds and everything is super clean. The Auckland is close to the beach and town. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Meals were plentiful and tasty. Staff are polite,friendly and accommodating. We had entertainment on 2 nights out of 3. From a coach driver's point of view,the Auckland is one of the better hotels I've stayed in,on the Isle of Wight.

Spent 4 nights here. Basic hotel. Room on second floor. Mattress on bed needed replacing. Problem with central heating and bath tap quickly put right by staff.
