My group of ramblers was made very welcome in May 2012, and Chris and Rosemary provided all that we could wish. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and good value. But you need to be patient at breakfast time! The hotel had only just opened for the season and maybe more staff are taken on as it gets going. melyd

This B&B is not worth the money. The rooms are small dated and cramped. Breakfast was a joke. 1 piece of bacon, 1 fried egg and 1 sausage is not a full english breakfast. I stayed here together with a friend and we had a lovely time. Friendly people, clean room, good breakfast, very helpful, quiet and relaxing. I am coming back now in September together with my husband. Just love Shanklin and the IOW.

The service here was fantastic. The rooms were huge and clean and best of all close to everything. We loved the wood carved bar and the feeling that we were truly in Ireland.
