I have never slept in a more comfortable bed, or eaten more delicious scrambled eggs - and I fancy myself rather an expert on scrambled eggs. An ideal place to spend the night if you are catching the ferry to Scotland, which is less than half an hour away

This was my second visit to the Beech Hill, and every bit as good as the last time and this time with much better weather so we could enjoy the garden, with its amazing views, and the conservatory, filled with the scent of jasmine. We had the house to ourselves and I was back in what I'll soon be calling... More

Stayed here in December 2011- unfortunately only for one night! Told Victoria in advance that I was coeliac and not only did she have fresh gluten-free bread available for breakfast but she also sourced and cooked gluten-free sausages which were delicious. She even put gf biscuits in the bedroom to have with my coffee. The room was extremely comfortable and... More

Booked a twin and a single room for two nights in late November - just as the snow hit. Had a fantastic stay - We all agreed it was probably the most comfortable bed any of us have ever slept in! - all crisp clean thick white sheets and blankets - lovely. The rooms were great - the house was... More

We booked all three rooms for two nights and had a great weekend. The bedrooms are gorgeous, very well appointed and beautifully decorated with really comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious with excellent locally sourced food, full of flavour. Views from the house are stunning and the house itself is lovely. We were made very welcome, not to say cossetted.

We couldn't stay in the hotel we wanted and found this quite by accident, mighty glad we did. Super rooms, amazing views, made us wish we could stay for longer. As previous reviewer said deserving of her prizes. Victoria is a remarkable host and her breakfasts are truly wonderful. Very happy to recommend.

Beech Hill maintains a very high standard of cleanliness and comfort; the room had all the features we required, with good quality linen and towels. All the Breakfast options were on offer and I can vouch that the cooked breakfast is absolutely delicious! We had a great trip to Northern Ireland and would definitely use Beech Hill again should the... More
