Just returned from a fabulous couple of days, the room was excellent, the breakfast fantastic and the company brilliant. We had great fun in the bar in the evenings with Nick and Karen the owners as well as other guests. I couldn't recommend anywhere better for a stay in Paignton, whether for a long or short stay. Very handy for... More

We had a 2 night stay here. We arrived after an eight hour journey from Scotland and were warmly greeted and given a well needed cup of tea. The room was lovely with a great view over to Torquay. The breakfast was first class with a great selection to choose from. Went down for a drink at night and Karen... More

We arrived early which was not a problem Nick and Karen were very welcoming and even carried our bags to the room, the room was spotless and cleaned everyday, breakfast was cooked to perfection every morning with endless tea coffee and toast. The location is about a 5-10min walk into town. Overall a really great atmosphere with the owners Karen... More

I stayed in this guest house over Christmas 2010. We were placed in room 6 at the top of the building with a beautiful view over Paignton. One thing that will strike you on you visit is how very friendly the owners are! They can't do enough to help and it really makes a difference. Basically, an extremely good choice... More

I only stayed at Aquamarine for a short while, but during that time i was overly impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail in the whole building and in the rooms. The rooms are all freshly decorated and are very warm and welcoming. I would go as far to say this B&B exceeds that of some high end Hotels... More

Most of Paignton's places to stay are either a long way from the town centre or are so central that you think you are actually in the bar-zone. Not so the Aquamarine - it is a short enough walk from both the sea-front and the "High Street", but is out of earshot of both. The ambience is warm and welcoming... More
