On arrival, they'd run out of Parking Vouchers, so we paid £8 to park in the Station Car Park. Two previous visits were successful BUT this time we were glad to leave. The staff were lovely, improved decor but the food at evening meals was diabolical. We have stayed in many Shearings hotels but this was the pits. In future we will stay at Premier Inn.

My wife and I have just returned from a 5 day day break at the Royal. We traveled with Shearings and our driver Rory was a great asset, full of useful information and extremely helpful.
