Just returned from a long week-end at Swallows Rest campsite. A really friendly site with fabulous views. All the basic facilities you need including endless hot water, free showers etc and the bonus of animals "wandering about" make this a great place to stay - we will be back!

The owners are as kind and welcoming as can be. The home is beautiful and very well kept. Each room has a name and its own style, with all the comforts you can hope for. My husband and I spent the first two nights of our honeymoon at Swallows Rest B&B and we had a truly wonderful and memorable time. I stayed at the campsite last week with friends. The view from the site was amazing, and it was lovely to be around the ponies, sheep, chickens and other animals around the farm. What a campsite! We had an excellent stay at Swallows Rest. The campsite is amazing, you can pitch where you like. Camp fires are allowed which is a rarity these days and the breakfast was one of the most amazing breakfasts that I have had, ever.
