Would highly recommend this B&B. We spent 3 nights there and it was very comfortable, wonderful breakfasts, spacious room and good en-suite bathroom. The immediate surroundings are very rural and quiet and it is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area with its many beautiful spots. We shall stay here again to continue our explorations of the... More

I chose this Bed and Breakfast purely on the previous reviews on Tripadvisor and since returning home have reread them all basically to confirm that we have all been staying at the same place. Our stay didn't get off to the best of starts when a female neighbour of Longacre's came rushing out to our car shouting and complaining that... More

We booked Longacre for one night as a mini-break for my boyfriend and I. Alex, the owner met us and showed us to a lovely, spacious room with a gorgeous wet room. I think the little touches are what made it special; toiletries, fresh milk in mini-fridge, feather pillows and memory foam mattress. Possibly the best night's sleep I have... More

Had a two night stay and couldn't fault the experience. Would happily book again. The owner even makes his own honey and allowed us to use his last jar. It was excellent.

Longacre offers great value, very well-appointed rooms in a lovely old barn. Friendly welcome from Alex, a great night's sleep and a hearty breakfast combined to set me up for the day ahead. This b&b looked like it would be the ideal spot for an extended visit in the summer, with its rolling lawns and small orchard ( with bee... More

This property is set in secluded, glorious countryside. We visited last summer and were very impressed with the location, accommodation, food and host. Alex was very knowledgeable of the area, recommending great places to eat and things to do. He was an excellent cook and we were unfortunate we only spent two nights there – we will definitely be returning.... More

It is hidden but what a gem when you arrive. Warm welcome from Alex (owner) and lovely facilities. We stayed in the Oak room which was very peaceful, clean and comfy. With prior notice evening meals can be arranged cooked by Alex. First night scallops followed by duck! Second night equally delicious so much so that we couldn't manage the... More
