We stayed here for one night as we had a family funeral to go to the following day and we live 4 hours drive away. We didn't book until an hour before we set off and got a family room for a double's price B&B. You can park in their very small car park but it will cost you £5... More

Stayed one night on business, one night too many!! Arrived in my room, it was filthy and for want of a better phrase the toilet was full!! A sad reflection on the general cleanliness when the cleaners don't even flush!! Response from manager "oh dear".... thanks that makes it all better! Mixed grill for dinner, sure sign it's not going... More

I stayed at the Queens Hotel for one night on business and found it to be a tired looking hotel with limited parking. However, the rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Plus being in the center of Newton Abbot it's extremely easy to get to and from. Parking on the road opposite the hotel is free but a... More

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. After an initial few hiccups we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is set on the edge of Newton Abbott town centre opposite the railway station. We did not hear any train noise during our stay. We stayed in a double room on the first floor at the... More

I gave this 4 out of 5 because of the staff. As others have said it's a little tired looking and could definitely do with some double glazing at the front of the building. The room was fine as was the bathroom and shower apart from the noisy traffic out front, hence the Double glazing. All the staff, without exception,... More

Stayed for work. Great for access to station and Newton Abbott but general feeling of tiredness. Smelt fusty/smoky throughout, despite the numerous air fresheners. Shower was a bit unpredictable and bed was not great. But then it's cheap and cheerful and the location makes up for a lot. Breakfast good too.

Stayed one night here on a business trip. The staff made my stay special, by responding to my requirements in a warm and friendly way, so that the stay was restful & refreshing. My room was spacious and clean, the meals were fine, I could leave my case there whilst out on business. I would recommend this hotel to other... More

I have stayed here about a dozen times over the past few years. Frankly, its merely OK as a hotel - the specifics are: CAR PARKING - there are a limited number of car parking places, and its a tight manoeuver! The alternative may be to park in the 'side lane' but this is frequently full because of the proximity... More

I stayed here in August 2012 for one night. I chose the hotel due to it's great location, opposite the train station and just a 20-minute walk to the local racecourse. The room was very pleasant and the bed was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately my room faced the street and although I was on the first floor, the noise from outside... More

My hotel of choice in the area. Parking is a bit of an issue - car park very small and they have recently started charging £5 a night. There is on the road parking which is free after 6 o'clock. If you're travelling by train the station is right opposite the hotel

Dear Andrew Thank you for your review, it is a small car park but we offer a secure lock up for your car rather than leaving it on the road. We look forward to seeing you in the future Kind Regards More
