This hotel is more traditional than The Grand Hotel. Excellent food. Excellent rooms. Great service. WiFi signal somewhat weak & variable. Very popular with retired people, so if looking for traditional & older company - it's great.

Undoubtedly a great hotel for the mature market, but it is increasingly difficult to book for small groups. The Bedford increasingly books out the majority of the hotel to dance groups for extended periods. So great if that is what you are after! However, not so good for those in smaller groups. Spent two nights at this hotel and cannot praise it enough. Usually, one can enjoy most places but wish that certain aspects could have been improved upon. Not here. Everything was beyond expectation. High quality all round with staff so attentive, excellent rooms, very up-to-date fittings/furnishings and meals beyond the awarded rossettes. Yes, we booked another stay when checking out!

Just returned from my 8th visit to this Hotel, as a non playing guest. Fantastic family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Always made to feel welcome. The star attraction is the food 5* at least. Don't stay in Blackpool, stay here and take a taxi or bus to visit theatres etc.
