We have used this Travelodge a number of times when using the tunnel to France. Situated on a large parking area with chain restaurants. On the other side of the M20 there is a Sainsbury where we fill up with petrol before crossing, and on the way home. We use room only for an early morning crossing so can't comment... More

I have given this Travelodge 5 stars because it was ideal for what we needed and very good value, we only paid £15 for a family room for 2. The room and bathroom were very clean, spacious with a comfortable bed. Contrary to a lot of Travelodge there is plenty of surface to put your luggage and the room is... More

Only 20/25 minutes to the Channel Tunnel straight down the M20, ideal for an early crossing. Yes it is basic but clean and with essential facilities, for only around £28 for a room, hard to beat. It is far better than fighting ones way through the early morning rush hour. The 'all you can eat breakfast' for £7.60 is also... More

Stayed here en route to France, was not expecting much, but really surprised, ample parking, check-in very easy, and colleague was polite, the room, was clean, well lit, and ample size for a family of 4 - even the children's beds were made. We left early, but all corridors and foyers were well lit, and made for a pleasant stay.

Stayed four nights on our trip from Australia. Great beds ,clean rooms ,friendly staff, and value for money. Thought the Bar a bit pricey. But other than that great. Good work guys. William Davidson NSW Australia

It is rare for us to be able to find a Travelodge that offers a good bar and a decent breakfast. Both facilities are helpful before and after a long journey. The hotel is convenient for the Channel Tunnel. In our case the mattress was not brilliant, but sufficed for tired folk with an early start to sleep.

Stayed here before the tunnel the following morning, our room was on the top floor, the hotel was a good price booked in advance. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, the room was average with typical travelodge stains on the carpets and sofa, to be honest the chair was pretty grim and the desk/worktop was in poor condition, the... I'd travelled down from the far North to Kent to attend the funeral of an old work colleague and friend. The first service was at 11.15 a.m. and I didn't fancy risking an early start. Travelodge offered a very fair price for a late booking. Satnav got me right to the front door at about 10.30 p.m. Parking was easy,... More

We booked into this hotel for 2 nights, but on seperate bookings, on our arrival they had 1 and not the other (we were booked into the travelodge in Brighton on the other) so that took some working out. The room they were giving us was quite a walk from the lift, as my husband is disabled we asked for... More
