I expected the worst for £29 a night after staying in an awful Travelodge in Birmingham but this one was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful, quite a bit of noise in the morning but we are on a service station! Very good overall

What a contrast when compared with the Travelodge at Chieveley, just a few miles up the A34. The former is grubby and nasty, while this one is clean and new. This is a very clean hotel, staff helpful and freindly. Handy if you are joining a cruise at Southhampton, as it is not to far to go. Ask for a room at back for a quiet night and nice green view.There is two places to eat close to travelodge.
