This is a well placed lodge with easy access to the town centre. With luck you will get a partial sea view but avoid being put into a back room without a window. Tip one. The hotel has no parking and local parking can be quite expensive. Drop your luggage off in the dedicated loading area outside then drive round... More

This not your usual Travelodge, its not a modern building. Travelodge bought the old building, which was previously a hotel and converted it into one of their lodges. There is NO onsite Parking. You will need to park in the near by shopping centre and walk 10 minutes to the hotel. I parked for two night and had no trouble,... More

I stayed 24-26th January for £12 per night. I was very pleasantly surprised after reading all of the reviews on this website! The hotel is excellently located opposite famous Grand hotel and minutes from the beach; shops; restaurants and museums. Ben greeted me on my arrival and was very friendly. I was given a large family room with huge bathroom... More

On an unplanned trip to Scarborough we booked into the local Travelodge which we were pleasantly surprised with. We were in a very large and clean room with a big bay window with a view overlooking the Bay. We were also surprised to find this particular Travelodge offered evening meals and breakfast. For £7 each we had a wonderful freshly... More

Very basic, very cheap – you get what you pay for. If people are going to pick faults after paying penny’s then find some where else to stay. It’s a brilliant location to get around Scarborough - not far from the bars / restaurants / arcades and 5 minute walk to the sea front. Parking is a little expensive, but... More

We have just come back from a weekend getaway to Scarborough, we wanted it to be cheap and cheerful following Christmas and that was what it was. The room was clean with tea & coffee making facilities and there was soap in the bathroom when the website said there wouldn't be. The central heating wasn't on but there were electric... More

Stayed here overnight a couple of nights ago as we were going to Futurist Theatre for a show and didn't fancy driving home afterwards...... Booked it a couple of weeks in advance, got one room for £25.50 and the other for £29. As there were 3 of us, this made it less than £20 each, which we felt was a... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in December during a very cold frosty weekend. We had a cheerful welcome at check in and the staff were friendly. Hotel is a good location for sea and town life< we cannot complain about the parking as we knew it was restricted and would have to pay to park in palm court. Our room... More

We paid £19 about a month in advance for a family room....normally it's £39. The room was large, and warm and seemed very clean but has no frills. It has tea making facilities, but no hair dryer etc, but for what we paid we have no complaints. The hotel is situated in an excellent position, with views over the bay... More
