“Warm welcome car psrking”

What a wonderful welcome . Car parking. Very clean, lovely decor. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm friendly owner. Explained about breakfast etc. Shown to our room which was beautiful so clean and tidy to a high standard. Situated 10 minutes walk from sea front amenities close by. Lovely breakfast . Highly recommend

“First class and great value for money”

A warm welcome with a cup of tea and biscuits in the comfortable guest lounge. My friend and I had a well furnished, nicely decorated, en-suite bedroom each, with very comfortable beds. It was rounded off with a top notch breakfast and all at a very competitive prices. Difficult to beat.

Thoroughly enjoyable couple of days despite a chilly wind. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Alan and Lyn together with coffee and cakes. The English breakfasts were the best ever. “Like your own home, but much better”

We stayed here for two nights and loved the Groveside and the hospitality from the owners. We were welcomed with a log fire, coffee and freshly baked cake. The house was impeccably clean and well kept, you can tell that they take pride in running the guest house. The bed was very comfy and we could have slept for hours... More

Had a great stay. All good standard. Breakfast was very well presented and all good what ever you had. Would go there again and only a short walk into town and the beach. Weather was freezing over bank hols but it did matter we had a good time.

Yes it was cold but not indoors thanks to the central heating!! Sidmouth was bathed in sunshine over Easter it was still very cold but it looked beautiful, and we now have had our summer house installed waiting for that warm weather which just has to come at some time! “Superb hospitality”

Lovely couple of days despite bad weather. Comfortable room overlooking the park and a delicious breakfast each morning. (Try the kippers with poached eggs). Lovely welcome from Alan who looked after us very well. We would recommend this hotel very highly.

I stayed here for 3 nights and was delighted with the service and amazing breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and Alan, the owner, was polite, helpful and considerate. The breakfast was amazing each day from Full English to kippers. All in all, an excellent experience.
