We stayed one night and would certainly return if in that area. The stay started with a very warm welcome and ended with a great breakfast. In between we had a top quality evening meal and a very comfortable room. The only downside is there is only street parking or a public car park over the road.

Discrete and unassuming entrance in the center of Ballater hides a hidden gem.Friendly, warm and quiet.Immaculate throughout.Our room was excellently appointed with a full en-suite. Stayed here in August and it was still another excellent stay. Food was it's usual high standard, staff friendly & polite. What else can I say apart from we will be back!

If you are ever passing through Ballater, stop, go to the square and knock on the door of the Green Inn. It only has three rooms and the restaurant does about 16 covers so the chances of getting in are slim, so my advice would be to go mid week if you can. The food is as good as it... More
