“Our Wedding Day”

We chose the Wine Glass Restaurant at the Barns Hotel for our wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception mainly because of the great location for us, plenty of car parking and top referrals from others friends (not on trip advisor) about this hotel. “bank holiday rest”

This was a very nice hotel, with an old barn attached (modernised) and a wedding was in progress when we stayed. We booked this hotel through Secret Escapes and based on other reviews thought that this place would be amazing - it wasn't though. The location of the hotel is fantastic and right on the riverside. The 'pub' though had poor service and there aren't a lot of tables next to the river as this is reserved for the restaurant section.... More

“Disappointing”

Only reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. We found the menu very limited, booked on a travelzoo voucher, personally I do expect to see burgers and a cottage pie on a four star hotels menu, take out the two fish dishes, then the two veggie dishes and you are left with steak (had to pay extra for this) and lamb.... “A great hotel in bedford”

I had a meeting at the Barns which included lunch. The lunch was very good, well priced and exceptionally good service. The hotel is situated just off the A421 in a beautiful location and a great atmosphere would highly recommend for business or liesure.

My husband and I attended a wedding at The Barns Hotel at the beginning of April and had a wonderful stay. The barn is just stunning and is a beautiful setting for a wedding. Our room was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was good - overall good value for money. Staff were lovely and very patient. Thank you.
