From the warmth of the welcome to the wonderful breakfast, all was superb. You would have to go a long way to find a more friendly, better appointed guest house. we loved the quirky touches, the family feel, the books in the bedrooms, in fact everything about our stay was first class.

From the first telephone enquiry it was a lovely experience. Very friendly and laid back. The B&B was very well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Only our second B&B experience (both in Stamford) and I think we've been spoiled.

We were made to feel extremely welcome and shown to a beautifully furnished room at the front of the house. As it overlooked the street I was initially concerned that it might be noisy, but excellent double glazing and super thick curtains put paid to that. From the welcome, the friendliness, the room and the amazing breakfast, everything is perfect. Beautiful, quirky and cosy. Why waste money in faceless chain hotels when there are places like this. The cooked breakfast was amazing and its clear top quality local sausage and bacon are used. Highly recommended

It's the little touches that make it - lovely soap, Lindt chocs on pillow, muffins on arrival - but also rooms that are beautifully decorated and delicious breakfasts, along with a really warm welcome. I've been there many times and will continue to visit.
