We were staying for one night in Llandudno and had not booked any accommodation, but noticed the Dunoon on driving into the town. Having considered and rejected a couple of hotels along the promenade we returned to the Dunoon and booked in for the night. This hotel is very charming and old fashioned - it was a completely unexpected surprise.... More

A good old fashioned style hotel. verypleasant & welcoming staff in all departments.Stayed five nights with Great Rail Journeys.Excellent value for money, with large welsh breakfast & five course dinner [ don't have the lamb] . A small pleasant bar, well priced but with only a small selection of draught beer. Room on third floor kept very clean &tidy, but plumbing... More

Having stayed in a number of hotels in Llandudno, during the last 20 years, I decided to try the Dunoon Hotel, although I had enquired last year ,and it came as no surprise that they were fully booked. It is very rare that I say that I would stay in a particular hotel again, but The Dunoon is the exception.... More

We stayed here for the Victorian Extravaganza weekend in May, the hotel itself is old world, nicely decorated in a traditional style. We had the standard family room which is had a queen size bed and a single bed plus they brought in a futon bed (nice wood base with thick futon mattress) for our other son. Clean and comfortable... We stayed at the Dunoon Hotel mid March 2013 for a four night duration on a Saga trip where we attended two Operas evenings in the town centre. All extremely well arranged with an Opera specialist who gave us a lovely and informative talk before each opera. This hotel is situated on an avenue road, quite close to the main... More

I've been to the Dunoon Hotel on about five different occasions now, and I thought I should finally write a review. I love the Dunoon Hotel, and I love it because I think it is everything a hotel should be. The service is excellent - the staff are attentive to your every need and incredibly friendly. The food is faultless... More

We stayed at the hotel with our 3 year old daughter and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm, the hotel is welcoming and full of character a lovely fire in the lounge. The food was excellent and the staff went out if their way for us making warm milk for our daughter before bed and... More

We went back to the Dunoon for a two night Winter Break. We both enjoyed very minute of our stay. The service was first class and the quality of the food seemed to be improved from our last visit and was certainly presented very well. We are really pleased that the Dunoon seems to be doing well in a difficult... More
