would not let us check in 40 minutes early, booked 3 rooms in advance and on arrival reception was not welcoming. All of the rooms we were given were dirty and did not seem to be properly cleaned, on closer inspection we found this to be true, A musty smell was present throughout the hotel and in the rooms, but... The room was awful, sterile and cell-like, the bed was very uncomfortable, the sheets itched, one window didn't open and the shower ran hot and cold. It was clean though. We had a view over rough ground (covered in used condoms and other litter) and an Audi dealership. The staff were helpful if you could find them. The nearby Toby Carvery... More

We have stayed here twice now. Disabled room is fantastily big, enough room to access with mobility scooter & very user friendly. Outside looks new but feels authentically older inside. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble We would easily stay here again.

This is your usual Travelodge. Room was decent, clean and tidy but not the most modern by any standards. Checking in was fine and staff were great, even coming up to the room to inform us out taxi had arrived. Bathroom was OK and shower was hot although no the most powerful. Plenty of free parking is available on site.Triple... More

I think this might be about EVERY Travelodge. My father in law booked a twin room here for himself and his partially sighted brother. He cannot do stairs and uses a wheelchair. He is NOT stupid, but did not pick up on the 'accessibility' box. There appeared to be no option for even a ground floor room unless said box... More

We stayed here recently (bank holiday weekend). It was very busy, so my husband and I had a twin room. Michelle (receptionist) gave us a warm welcome, but the room was very poor. VERY VERY basic. The twin beds were really cheap with a single fitted sheet over - You could see the mattress through the sheet. The heating was... More

Arrived on a Sunday and the car park was heaving as it is shared with the Toby Carvery. Being an obsessive about where I park I was happier leaving the car on the road which wasnt a problem. 1st impressions of the staff was how friendly they were and nothing was too much trouble. This impression never waived throughout our... More
