We choose Eastbourne as it was cheaper than Brighton(our team were playing Brighton) and we couldnt fault it. Rooms were spacious and superclean. Owners were friendly and informative and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb. Great choice of menu. Will definitely want to use this lovely guesthouse next season!

We (family of three) very much enjoyed our stay at Southcroft B&B even if it was for just one night. The room was very clean and nicely furnished with a very nice, spacey bathroom. Very warm welcome and we got great tipps what to do in the evening and for the next day. Excellent breakfast. We certainly would come back... More

We found that our surf through numerous websites had paid off when we arrived at this friendly guesthouse. Southcroft is that rare commodity, a true home from home. Bedrooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with up-to-date fittings. It's not often you find a guesthouse which provides evening meals - and certainly not one where the standard is uniformly high. As... More

This small guesthouse is well located on a quiet street in what I consider to be the best side of Eastbourne (West side) about 2 mins walk from the beach. I stayed here for 4 days with my father - in separate rooms. My room was on the second floor. It was a twin that was a good size for... More

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. The maintenance issues which you mentioned with the shower head and fan were easily and quickly rectified as soon as we read it and would have been attended to immediately if you had mentioned them to us during your stay. The room where your father stayed was the last to be... More

We stayed here over the August Bank Holiday weekend as part of a short motorcycle tour around Kent & Sussex. Andy and Linda are very warm and welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and their restaurant recommendation was spot on. Our room was very clean. tidy and homely as was the whole property.

Southcroft is a very welcoming B&B in the residential Meads area of Eastbourne. It is well situated for strenuous walks out of the door towards the South Downs and Seven Sisters as well as gentle strolls into town to the west of the pier and the seafront. All of the town is very accessible on foot without a car so... More

We had walked the Seven Sisters trail, so it was a bit of a shock to come to the end of the trail and find we still had over a mile to go to our B&B, the Southcroft. It is in a residential area, so we did a bit of looking before we found it. The Southcroft was a pleasant... More

We stayed at the Southcroft Guesthouse after walking the South Downs Way for 7 days and it was a very welcome sight. The whole family participated in making our stay memorable and were all very helpful with laundry and restaurant suggestions. Southcroft is very well situated, close to the seafront and also the railway station and downtown area of Eastbourne.... More

What more can I say? Lovely house, close to seafront. The room was beautifully clean and nicely decorated with good quality bedding. The bathroom was slightly dated but fully functional. It was so beautifully silent that apart from at breakfast time it was as though you had the place to yourself. The owners are lovely and the breakfast great. I... More
