Had a short stopover in Bregenz but this was one of the better Mercure hotels I stayed in on this trip. Nice surroundings right beside Lake Constance. Enjoyable stroll along on the way to town. 5mins walk away and there is a street market every Tuesday and Friday. More

The hotel is in an outskirt of Bregenz. Parking is rather disordely; the parking closer to the hotel entrance is reserved for visitors to the adjacent casino. Reception is friendly and efficient. The hotel is wonderfully located for the station, town and lake, but the rooms are small and airless. Only the third floor rooms have airconditioning and even with the window wide open we couldn't get enough air circulation to be able to sleep.
