We stayed 10 days at this beautiful 5 star hotel and had a wonderful time. A lot of space and green gardens with endless grass and walking paths in and around the hotel. The Spa is a real special place worth trying. There are quite a few children around the shallow part of the pool but pool is so big... More

As soon as we arrived they upgraded our room to a sea-view room. Rooms are comfortable (although quite old) and there was complimentary wine, fruits, and water upon the arrival. Stuff is very polite (in reception and waiters - but definitely not the Georgian women who were arguing in front of the customers). Wonderful swimming pool. Unfortunately not free jacuzzi, steam... Just got back from 7 days at the Azia. We stayed in a Club room which was of very good size and in good order. It was kept very clean by housekeeping. The staff overall were excellent and all very friendly. The ladies on reception were brilliant. Facilities were very good, with an excellent pool. There are plenty of sun... More

I thought this hotel is too good to tell, but to be fair, this is exactly why they all deserve at the Azia a big Congratulations! Everything is so beautiful including of course that famous lobby with the palmtree in the middle of the furniture! Wonderful service, big windows, nice views, lots of trees and grass, nice little beach and... More

The Azia resort is on the way to Akamas, about 10 kilometres from the touristy part of the harbour. Perfect location to be able to have COMPLETE peace and quiet but still see and do so much very easily. I highly recommend the hotel and I will try to make it easier to understand my experience: 1. facilities and spaces... More

We stayed 2 weeks there and we wish we stayed longer. First week was spent to relax, and let me tell you the Azia is the place to do relaxation. Beautiful, very big gardens with palmtrees and beautiful plans. The service is super! Nothing is too much trouble and all with a smile. The pool is one of the biggest,... More

I would like to know which Azia resort & spa in Paphos people went to that found it to be excellent as it certainly wasn`t the one we went to. The luxury sea view rooms were tired, shabby and in desperate need of updating especially the bathroom. The food was very poor, in fact the whole dining experience be it... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
A small hotel may have all the charm in the world, yet what the discerning guest will sometimes miss is the variety of experience to make the holiday an unforgettable pleasure. This is the thinking behind the concept of the Azia Resort, a foray into sophisticated escapism that offers stylish barefoot living, understated luxury and casual unobtrusive service. Built as three different hotels on adjacent grounds, with plethora of magnificent spaces for carefree living, the Azia Resort has all the diversity to keep its guests contented for a week or longer. Each element of the three-in-one boutique hotel concept has its own character and fulfills different aspirations of the visitor. The Azia Blue is about sophisticated, spacious living and family luxury. The Azia Club and Spa is ideal for privacy and indulgence. The Residence is a haven of individual pampering and innovative style. The Azia Resort is situated a few kilometres from Paphos centre and is privileged to share close proximity to the finest locations and treasures of the island. One of the few resorts with a west-facing outlook, the Azia provides guests with a sublime view of blazing indescribable sunsets. The sophisticated design of the trio owes as much to edgy London design as to local influences. The result an atmosphere that is sensuous yet earthy, shaped by the whole history of Cyprus and by the natural beauty of the island. The nature is suggested, for instance, by such details as the use of flower and leaf motifs carved on wood and stone as well as by the profusion of indoor and outdoor plantings. The history is present in a slick, fusion manner combining very earthy and artistic elements. Each area is influenced by a different chapter of the Cyprus history. Venetian Murano glass, hand painted silk and gold leaf decoration of the main dining room represent the impact of the Venetian Republic on the history of the island, while the main lobby has the airiness suggestive of the open spaces of the agora of ancient Greece. There the pebble, the marble, the greenery and the abundance of light combine perfectly with loungy loveseats and design furniture. The staircase banister looks like seaweeds moving with the waves and the piano lobby bar is a beautiful reminder of the colonial influence. The main bar, in deep sensuous colours, with finely carved wood lace on the walls and hand-wrought iron lamp structures, captures the fusion of Arab cultures on the island. The sybaritic Asphodel Spa is a hymn to nature, intriguing to the senses yet calming to the mind. The sound of falling water, the fine incense of ouzo and anise, the breeze in the garden treatment rooms, the rich natural textures; these and a variety of treatments offering different experiences have been deployed in its design to awake all the senses and sooth the body and mind. This is one of the best spas in the world, a space that can keep the visitor content day after day. The symbol of the hotel is the Asphodel, the immortal flower in the ancient Greek mythology. According to the ancient Greeks, it stands for the ultimate happiness of the soul and was the first sight a soul longed to see at the gates of paradise. Asphodel still grows in abundance wild on the island. ... more   less
