Well-located on Laugavegur (main shopping street in Reykjavik) is this new and hassle-free hotel. Interesting concept as there is no reception. Upon arrival, someone will instruct you via the phone on how to access the room. That said, there is no room service as well, so everything is on your own. There are many travel brochures near the elevator though... More

Stayed at this hotel recently and found it perfect for a couple or single traveller and very gay friendly too. perfectly located for me, close to the marina, where I wanted to stroll along the beach and take in the Icelandic clean air. The Hotel itself is up a steep hill, so best take a taxi or airbus if you... More

I stayed in OK Hotel for three nights in April 2013 with a friend of mine. The hotel is located on Laugavegur and it takes probably 10 mins to walk to the city centre. A great breakfast option, if you do not want to make it yourself in the well-equipped kitchen is Sandholt-Bakery, probably 3-4 minutes away. During our stay... More

Great value, a little trouble gaining initial access, but very smooth once we were in. Would definatey recommend. Excellent Laugavegur location. Some construction still taking place last week but not distracting.

This hotel is tucked away in a great location at one end of the main shopping street in the centre of Reykjavik. I travelled with a friend and we did request a twin room but got a double. This didn't really matter to us but was probably the only negative thing I could say about the place. Despite the unusual... More

We originally booked two nights at the hotel before our trip back home. We decided to only stay at ok hotel for our last night and left them a voicemail. They replied with an email stating that they would check us in at ok hotel personally and that they had a nice one bedroom for us. When we got there,... More

Me and two friends stayed here for three nights, but it was supposed to be four... We were prepared for what we suspected would happen due to checking reviews on other sites (namely booking . com). We turned up on the first night at midnight, and lo and behold, a night worker turned up 20 minutes after we buzzed for... More

This is a really good hotel on one of the main shopping/nightlife streets although at the non busy end. We could walk to the bars we tended to drink at within 10 minutes and to the harbour in 20. The rooms are strangely decorated but we liked the unusual decor and although small, they are well set out with everything... More

We stayed at OK hotel for 5 nights at the end of January and it was easily the best choice we have made in terms of hotels. The apartments are situated on the main shopping street of Laugavegur in the centre of Reykjavik. There is a supermarket across the road, various cafes and restaurants all across the street and the... More

Stayed here at the end of January 2013 with my boyfriend for our final night in Reykjavik. I only wish we had stayed here for longer instead of Apartment K. The hotel is a little difficult to find as it's not clearly identified but don't let that put you off as it's a very well run affair. We arrived a... More
