My wife and I spent two nights in this charming converted coaching inn in the centre of Roskilde. As previous reviewers have pointed out the location is great. The room was well appointed, with free wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. We had excellent evening meals and all staff were friendly and accommodating. We plan to return soon.

The best feature of the hotel is it's location. On one side it faces onto the principal shopping street - a pedestrianised area but beware high speed bicycles on the central cycle track! We were staying in a sweet. It has big and spacious rooms. Very neat and clean and well organised. Staff was hospitable and friendly. It is centrally located. Not bad, not good! Average in every sense of the word. Though admittedly very Danish, thoughts of a military barracks with a feminine touch do tend to come to mind.

Couldn't fault this hotel. Only there one night and all was good. Efficient check in, good room and excellent breakfast. Location was great and on site parking good.

I liked this place. So much so that I gave the reception staff a couple of bottles of wine (though to be fair it was as much because I couldn't carry them as hand-luggage as anything else).
