I think this is the best location in Copenhagen for a tourist. The rooms are very small but charming. I stayed there multiple times and the staff was always very friendly. The breakfast is not worth the money in my opinion. It's nicer to have it somewhere nearby.

The location is fantastic as you have to walk down Nyhaven to get there. That is not a chore but you do feel compelled to stop at at least one of the great bars to eat, drink and people watch so leave some time. The reception areas are delightful but the room was small, cramped and had no Wi-Fi on... More

Recently stayed on the inside part of the hotel (it's a combination of two buildings). The first impression was really positive with the staff at reception very helpful and welcoming. My room was warmly decorated and had a good sized double bed with quality linens. The bathroom was clean and well stocked and had a bath with shower over. The... More

We stayed in the hotel for one night at the beginning of our trip and another at the end. The first room was incredibly small for two people (room 227). You could not open the window and the bathroom door at the same time. Breakfast is good but expensive (170 DKK each). The second night we asked for a bigger... More

We stayed in this hotel in April of this year and unfortunately were very disappointed and ended up really regretting it. We actually targeted it due to its undeniably great location and the historic building, and were quite encouraged by many of the other reviews. However after staying there we were amazed that more people have not commented on just... More

This hotel is a great location and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately that's where the good stops. When we got to our roomb I was shocked. It looked like something out of a 1980's horror movie. The bathroom was like something you would find in a camper and the room hadn't been updated in 20 years. I... More

We stayed for a long (honeymoon) weekend. The location is fantastic, at the quiet far end of Nyhavn, with all of its great bars and restaurants in easy walking distance of the hotel. The centre of town for shopping etc is also a short stroll away. The handy bus that stops right outside the hotel is the 'tourist special' that... More

I stayed at this hotel mid-April 2013 of for 7 nights on business. Walking into the hotel the lobby is quite nice and not like the cookie cutter lobby of a chain hotel. I stayed in room 125 which was small but had a double bed. The bed was decently comfy. The view from the room was a building next... More

I have no idea how this hotel rates a four star rating. Nothing in my experience staying there bore out that rating. It is overpriced, feels cheap, and my first room was a complete joke. I am 6ft 2in tall and was allocated room 628. Room 628 has a sloped ceiling that starts from very low and dominates the room,... More

Nice and friendly staff, great views of the canals and really, really close to the nice pubs and restaurants in Kongen's Nyhavn. Everything was good about this hotel (for its level). We stayed there over Christmas and the staff was attentive and friendly. The room was cosy (slightly small though) and the bed good.
