Different than a lot of other hotels. Newly renovated with a lot of sense for details and respect for the history of the building. Top rating for the service. We went there just for the breakfast this time.

The reception looked surprisingly informal for a hotel, but the room was fine (the sloping ceiling needed care). The breakfast was very impressive. Parking is easy and the location good. The room rate was very reasonable for a hotel in a city.

This hotel is very nicely located in Nyborg across from the harbour and virtually in the city centre. The hotel rooms, we had booked 3, are all different, a bit old fashioned, the bath rooms too. They were all clean and nice enough. The breakfast was nice, again a bit old fashioned Danish, served in nice enough dining rooms. The owner is very nice, so are the staff

What a great find! A quaint hotel right across from harbour, clean, excellent breakfast buffet, kind reception, close to pedestrian street. Would love to return to Nyborg and stay again at Villa Gulle.

During congress in Odense I stayed in single room. Clean, nice room, very good breakfast and everything for a very low price. I arrived after hours and found my key as promised. I will certainly use this hotel again if needed

We (a >60 couple) were here for a single night because of a business meeting the next morning. The rooms are simple, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We at the set meal for dinner - very very Danish cooking, tasty and warm. The best home-made vanilla ice cream ever. You are in a little city, but at the same time in a country inn.

Nice and clean room that was upgraded without charge. Small single room but enough for me. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean, good shower. Very Nice breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere. I recommend this place!

We decided to overnight in Nyborg after flying from Canada to Copenhagen. We choose Nyborg as it was part way to our destination in Ribe. It is truly a charming Danish town with a quaint small harbour. Hotel Villa Gulle is in a perfect location in the center of town across the street from the harbour. It is an old building - perhaps more than a century old - with smaller rooms and narrow hall ways. Our room had twin beds and a sofa and while very basic and dated, was clean and comfortable. A breakfast with a variety of cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, breads and cereals was provided in the dining area overlooking the harbour. The owner 'Gulle' treated us very well. It was a great location to walk about the town center which came to life in the morning with merchants displaying their wares on the streets in front of their businesses. All in all, we had a great evening and morning in Nyborg and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Gulle.…
