Maniatis hotel provides the basic standards to accomodate you in Sparti with a cheap price.. Central location, clean rooms with great views, basic breakfast. Mystras -world heritage site- located only 10 mins away with the car.

This is an older hotel by kept in good condition. The breakfast (on a Cosmos tour) was good. The bed was quite hard/solid. Free wifi worked well. The rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is located right in town so everything is close.

I Visited Sparta in 2011, for business and I stayed on the Maniatis hotel. The hotel was something more than average. You will find clean rooms, and a good breakfast. The rooms were big and spacious, with nice comfortable beds. Not the best in the city but stll a good hotel to stay.

We stayed in this hotel in May 2012. Location is excellent, rooms are clean, large enough for two people but not overly spacious. Shower room acceptable, certainly above average for Greece (everything in place - plugs etc!). Breakfast better than Greek norm but not international hotel standard. We have visited maniatis 3 times , but always for a short "2 nights" stay. The hotel is located in the center of Sparta, so we could easily find it. On the face of it an average hotel but the ludicrously small rooms and tiny shower room are disappointing. Throw in the very poor food and couldn't care less attitude and you have a definite no- no for us. Probably the worst on the tour.
