Just back from a relaxing week at the Geranium (my second time there) Once again impressed by the friendly relaxed service on offer - there is a great pool with ample sunbeds, the whole complex has a pleasing aesthetic (furniture, decor) and there is none of the glitzy pretentiousness of other locales. Stayed here in July 2012 for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Location is great - just 10 minutes downhill into town. Reception/management staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and fitted in exactly with the guys staying at the hotel, as did the bard staff. Pool area is clothing optional.

Wonderful location ... pure and calm ... close to the hotspots in the city ... it was a very pleseant stay ;-)

We spent 12 nights at this hotel with a great view, great pool and terrific staff. It is a pleasant walk to town, but a bit much coming back at the end of the night. It is up a steep hill. However, a cab is only 4-5 Euros. The pool is one of the nicest I have ever used.
