Just spent a lovely week here with my teenage son. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, also in a great location in the old town. Pool is small but adequate for a refresh on a hot day. The only drawback was the shower in the bath with no overhead wall attachment

Warm welcome. Beautiful building. Large spacious authentic rooms. White wash brick work and high ceilings our room looked over the plunge pool. Very quiet apart from the quaint bong from the church opposite which rung at “random o’clock”! Huge bed, clean towels every day. Breakfast is basic continental.

Wow, what a lovely place to stay in Rethymno old town. This small hotel is in the perfect place in the old town. It's in a quiet side street but within minutes of all the beautiful restaurants and tavernas of which there are many and most are excellent. We stayed in room 102, a junior suite with balcony overlooking the lovely street. Room was large with a fridge and aircon and safe all included in the price which is not always the case. It has a very comfortable four poster bed and corner bath with shower attachment. We do love a walk in shower but this did not detract from our holiday at all. Breakfast is included and is fruit, yogurt, bread and pastries and eggs, sausage and bacon. Coffee and tea are served by the two wonderful receptionists or juice if you prefer. I must just mention the two young ladies on reception, they were absolutely amazing and friendly and helpful. They will give advice on places to eat, visit etc. Top marks to them both and also the maid who kept our room spotless and changed our towels every day. would definitely stay here if we came to Rethymno again, which is very likely. We loved it, thanks very much , love from Paula and Garry x…

We returned last week after a wonderful two weeks at Antica Dimora. The hotel really beautiful. We stayed in a room with a small balcony overlooking the pool and with a great view of the old town. The hotel is perfectly situated in the old town. As the hotel is small, you have to phone down before breakfast each day to check if there is a space as there are only three tables for the eight rooms- we never had to wait for a table though. There was a good variety for breakfast. All the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Rethymno itself was beautiful and a great location to stay in to explore the rest of Crete. We'd thoroughly recommend a stay at Antica Dimora to anyone.

Well what can I say, beautiful small boutique hotel with great location in the Old Town, with staff that made us so welcome that we did not want to leave. We had a superb room with 4 poster bed (Euterpe 102) and a wonderful balcony overlooking the bustling traditional street below. Superb breakfasts. Lovely little peaceful pool area. Can we just give a very big thank you to Anastasia, Damian, Vaso and Irina who looked after us so well.

We have just returned from a great week at Antica Dimora. What a fantastic place to stay. We would recommend taking a room with a balcony. Great for morning coffee or evening nightcap. Beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts are lovely with plenty of choice. What really made our stay was the staff who are superb. Nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to the delightful Eleni who is an absolute assett to the business.

We have just stayed at the Antica Demora Suites in the Old Town of Rethymnon - We stayed in the Polyhmnia Suite with a Wrought Iron Balcony overlooking the Pool . Everything was superb - a beautiful room, spotlessly clean with great air con,4 poster bed etc. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfasts with a great choice of handmade pasties/pastries etc . The beautiful Spyridoula is wonderful and her Cappuccinos are the best. We would return again tomorrow ! .

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Antica Dimora Suites this summer. The rooms were very comfortable, and clearly a lot of effort went into restoring this beautiful historic home. The staff were warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable regarding any and all of our questions. The location is terrific, at the edge of the hustle and bustle of the Venetian harbor and an easy walk with luggage to our ferry to Santorini. Our suite had a formal ante room, a four poster bed, hot shower and creature comforts such as efficient air conditioning when needed. Try the neighborhood restaurant across the street, with a partner bar just next door to the hotel - we didn't discover this until the day before we left, but the food is great and the wine list, while only in Greek, produced my favorite glass of red wine in Greece.…

We loved this hotel, everything was perfect from the staff to the location. We stayed here for a week and we loved this city and the people. The hotel is located in the old town and only a 10 minute walk to the harbour. The building is beautiful and spotlessly clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
