I am a 56 year old man who developed a disability three years ago and am now a wheel chair user. Finding suitable holiday destinations has been a new challenge for me. My wife and I used the excellent specialist travel firm Enable to book a week at the Eria Resort. We had a wonderful time. From the moment we... More

I work as a personal assistant for Tiina Kari, whos MS-disease was diagnosed in year 2003. Later she became a widow and needed more help in home we started as a work pair. We travelled as much as her condition allowed and in the cold winterdays we started to dream of holiday somewhere sunny and warm place. I was searching... More

We stayed a week at Eria with my father, now 91 years old and very limited in mobility. The resort is fully equipped for disabled needs and small enough for a very personal touch. Its real strength is in its people: Manager Diamanto and colleagues could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and attentive. On one occasion when a doctor... More

Let me, as a handicapped person (after a stroke) to give my un-reserved appraisal and recommendation of a small hotel on the beautiful and romantic Greek island of Crete. My wife and I have now been guests there for six successive years and have enjoyed the warm weather of autumn – 25-30 degrees in September/October. To return to Eria is... More

Hello, We are a familly with a disabled child. We go in ERIA RESORT every year! Dear “ruby2Shropshire” we think that your comments are very un-fair! This hotel is a paradise for us and when we show these comments we thought that we have to write you back... How do you except to pay the same prices in a luxury... More

Hello to all of you from a very rainy England - I wish we were still in your sunshine. I wanted to give you some feedback but didn't want to fill in a standard form - and I didn't just want to say "It's a great place"; I wanted to say why. Please feel free to use this feedback in... More

Eria really is unique. After so many hassles and disappointments elsewhere in Euope, this is a welcome change - somewhere where the disabled traveller and carer can relax because nearly everything is designed to make life stress-free. This despite the charging policy for things like hoists - if disability is your market, these things really should be thrown in free,... More

It is very hard finding somewhere suitable for my wife Jenny following her stroke. She is now quadriplegic and holidaying is a tough proposition. Luckily, we came across Eria resort. It is a fabulous place, even for those with very severe disabilities. They have a fabulous pool and Jenny was swimming everyday, which was great therapy and fun! The hotel... More

The Eria Resort is purpose built for disabled people and their carers. The hotel is wonderfully barrier-free from the pool (gentle sloped ramp with good handrails and wheelchairs suitable for the pool if needed) to the bedroom suites with walk/wheel-in showers and plenty of grab rails. The view from our balcony was lovely and I would recommend the first floor... More
