We stayed at Pestana Grand for the second time. Beautiful premises and location, big room and bathroom. This time the room was very good. Loved it again.
Were disappointed that the hotel began to charge for wifi in the lobby. A 5* hotel should provide such service free of charge and not only in the lobby.

This hotel is a little bit out of the town centre but it's worth the bus or taxi ride. The pools are lovely (inside and out) and the whole grounds are just beautiful to walk round. Everyone was really helpful and friendly too. Would certainly stay there again if we are back in Funchal.
