We were "sold" this hotel by the glowing tripadvisor reports so our expectations were high! We would concur with the positive reports about the decor, staff, food and rooms. We particularly liked the public areas which are tastefully furnished with antique and reproduction furniture, pictures and wallhangings, and fresh flowers too! However it does come with a couple of caveats....

Just back from a two week stay at this jewel of an hotel.
Two minor niggles to begin; no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and unavailability of an iron and board. To have ironing facilities brought to the room would be easy to do.
They are, as I said very minor.
