Was over for a few days with friends(Nov. 2012). This 2 star hotel is very central to city center, attractions, restaurants , main square etc. Yes its basic, but clean. With free Wi-Fi , 24 hour check in and helpful staff. I'd go back. My rate was 26 euro for 1 single bed, double bed and shower/toilet (see pictures)

i just randomly selected to stay at pensao norte and booked on the interenet.. to my surprize hostel the room was so nice.. it was a spacious room with balcony facing street which is quiet . the staff is so friendly there and they keep it so clean. i had very nice time at pensao norte

Paid 32 € a night for a double room with a shower and sink but shared toilet. Fantastic for the price!! Cleaned daily, large window (although no air con but knew this at booking and was fine).
