Our stay in this hotel in Coimbra, Portugal was very comfortable. Our room has a patio and we looked out to the lights and waterway of Coimbra. It was very beautiful. Staff was helpful. Room was clean. Food was great! What more could you ask for? I recommend it.

Quiet, comfortable and good food. What more do you want? Coimbra is a beautiful city and this is a great place to see it from. Sure would stay here again. The view alone is worth the price. Our evening meal was delious and served quickly and without issues.

Don't expect to find luxury in this hotel. However the price you pay in my opinion is very good if you look into the amenities the hotel provides to you ( wifi, parking...). Stayed 2 nights in February. Nice view of the old city and river but it is pretty far from the old centre/ old part of the city. Room and bathroom were basic, dated. I didn't pay for the room therefore comment on the cost. Restaurant was nice with good breakfast and dinner.

Hotel sits on hill overlooking great view of Coimbra, Good bed & free wifi. Hair in bathroom sink. Buffet had almost nothing for vegetarians! I would stay again but eat elsewhere. Good accommodations for the price.

I am at the moment sitting at the restaurant having my breakfast and with an amazing view over the city of Coimbra. Unfortunately thats the only good thing of this hotel, the view! We stayed here as part of a Cosmos tour group for one night. Our room was at the back of the hotel so the views were none existent. It turned out to be to our advantage as the university students partied all night just across the river from the hotel and all our colleagues at the front of the hotel... More
