We didn't stay at this hotel, but we did eat at the attached restaurant - awesome food, good price, great service. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice in a 6 day trip! The pasta carbonara was our favorite dish.

We stayed for two nights. the room was very small but spotless and adequate. The sean and harbour view means you also are over the outside bar area and the coast road - so expect some noise. If you visit the Acores to experience a few days back to the roots, no hectic, no media, no entertaining, just sounds and sights of nature, this is the place to be! Whatever you need, there is always somebody available with advice and support, meals are really good, staff is extremely friendly and guides are extremely knowledgeable.

Despite the strained name, this is not really properly described as a 'hotel', it is really more of a dormitory for the adjacent whale watching outfit, Espaco Talassa. We stayed here for a week, and it was perfect. Simple accomodation, Great locally produced food, Helpful staff and amazing sea views. I would stay here again.
