We stayed here for 2 nights. What can we say? Warm and friendly owners who give you the feeling you are staying at a friends House. Great area, great place, great view, great breakfast on the balcony with sea view.

Our stay at the Zimbreiro was quite short, but really relaxing. Hospitality, good taste and availability are the main features of the owners. The cottages are well placed in beatiful nature with a view on Sao Jorge island. At night and day you only listen to the sound of animals, wind and ocean... A true escape from stress!

O Zimbreiro is a beautiful bed and breakfast on the far side of Pico within the village of Ponta de Ilha. Both Jeremy and Anne-Lise are wonderful hosts. We have spent 3 days at O Zimbreiro during September 2011. It was a fantastic place to stay: absorbed in nature and in the maze of stone walls that features the island of Pico, amazing view on Sao Jorge, rooms are perfectly cured in any particular, a very warm hospitality, and last but not least fantastic breakfast...

what a great stay we had here in Piedade. O Zimbreiro provides excellent accommodation in a beautiful estate. We spent a lovely few days here in September 2008. It is a beautiful place and Jeremy, Anne-Lise and their family (and Soquette the dog) made us very welcome.
