I am a little bemused by some of the reviews stating how far the hotel is from town. It's a 35min walk to old town and 5 mins to a lovely beach. Just stayed here for 4 nights for the third time, it's very good and service is excellent...although checking in is a little laborious but that aside the hotel... More

The hotel itself was not too bad but the location seriously let's it down. We walked for about an hour through not very nice area's to get to the town. There is a hotel bus to take you there but that itself shows how far away the town is.

The location of the hotel is a good half hour walk to the old town and fifteen minutes to the small local beach it's very hilly so not great for those not so mobile . Although we visited out of season so the hotel was a little quieter, the staff were friendly, breakfast was fresh and the hotel was ideally located walking distance from both Albufeira Old Town (45 minutes) and the Marina (10 minutes).
