Very large and comfortable bed, spotlessly clean bathroom and a super friendly welcome from Dorine. Easy walk into town, very quiet location. Close to the Vlissinghe and the Terastje and a handy Carrefour around the corner. Really enjoyed our stay

that this is the best B&B I have ever been to. I will not tell you either that the room we stayed in is amazing. We will certainly forget to mention that Dorine is a great host and her breakfasts are magnificent. We will make sure not to mention that the area is quiet but close to the center. Why? Because rooms are limited and I want to make sure to get one next time I visit Bruges!!

Beautiful rooms in an old house from the 19th century, renovated with a lot of love in a modern way. Perfect mixture of old and new. The room (big new one under the roof) was very clean and the Service very personal and welcoming. The host makes the breakfast herself and makes every wish come true. We would always come back. To sum it up: it was a perfect stay in a charming city.

This is the best bed and breakfast we’ve stayed in across Europe. Dorine is a wonderful person - so friendly and helpful. She spent so much time helping us make the most of our stay with plenty of great recommendations and local knowledge. And wow, we are still talking about the breakfast - so delicious. Cooked eggs and bacon, local cheeses, fresh bread, homemade jams, fresh orange juice and more - it was seriously good. The location was really picturesque and a little more quiet but still a quick walk into the centre of the old town. The building itself is a beautiful old home with amazing character features which reflect the heritage of Bruges. Our room and bathroom were very clean and tastefully decorated - I even enjoyed a bath while we were there. We checked in late and stayed over Christmas and the whole experience was flawless. There are also bikes available to explore more of Bruges or cycle to nearby towns. Dorine puts a lot of love into Bruges at Night and it absolutely shows. We will be back.

Very comfortable B&B in a cleverly architecturally renovated old Flemish house. Dorine clearly has an eye for art and design! She's a great host, serving up insider tips on sights and eats around Bruges, and not to forget her amazing breakfasts of pastries, many local spreads, savouries, and chocolate (the best part of a Belgian breakfast!). The rooms are spacious and modern, there's room in the house to wind back and relax, and central Bruges is less than 10 mins walk away. Overall, would highly recommend staying here, and would return here, like visiting a friend, next time we're in Bruges.

I visited this wonderful property on Saturday 2nd December for two nights, with my Girlfriend, Mum and Aunty. We’ve stayed in Brugge numerous times over the past 5 years, and nothing even comes close to the level of service received by Dorine. We arrived earlier than expected on the Saturday, to be greeted by a very warm and friendly welcome. Dorine spent a good hour with us, explaining the area in detail and recommending a some interesting places to visit, many of which would be easy to miss if you weren’t in the know! Dorine was even kind enough to follow me 2 miles across town to the free car park, and drive me back. The rooms have all the qualities of the perfect B&B; they were spacious, very clean, comfortable, warm, and decorated individually. There was a lovely seating area on the first floor, with a comfy sofa, plus tea/coffee making facilities and a hi-fi. This was the ideal room for relaxing and chatting in after a day out in the city. The house itself was stunning, it had a lovely modern kitchen and dining room extension, which really complemented the original features of the older part of the house. Dorine’s breakfast is enough to set you up for the full day! Breakfast was varied enough to suit all tastes, and included fresh bread, all sorts of preserves, soft and hard cheeses, pastries, eggs (cooked to your liking), freshly squeezed fruit juice, coffee and a selection of teas. I’d recommend this property for to anybody looking for the ideal base to explore Brugge from. It’s located in a nice quiet street which is close enough to the main centre (10-15 minutes’ walk maximum), yet far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Dorine is a friendly, knowledgeable host who takes pride in providing excellent, personal customer service which you’re very unlikely to receive at a hotel. We’re now thinking of visiting Brugge again in the summer, and this time there’s no need to search again for somewhere to stay, as we’ve found the perfect spot.

Dorine is a very warmhearted, hospitable and enthusiastic person, offering a lot of nice and helpful tips about Brugges and the surrounding area. Not to mention the glorious breakfast... Lots of different spreads, fresh juice, delicous chesse, variety of nice bread... The room was also very nice, clean and comfortable! Dorrne further offers some bikes to her guests which is a great thing if you want to see some of the surround nature. Overall, totally recommendable!!!

Beautiful room, amazing host, devine breakfast ( I'm now addicted to a couple of breakfast spreads). A lovely stroll to the centre of town and around the corner from what is believed to be their oldest cafe/inn 1515 I think. Highly recommend this B&B. A tip though leave large/heavy luggage in a locker if possible & take a small bag if it's a short stay. Like a lot of European accommodation the B&B has narrow, steep stairs. Do yourself a favour and book the large room with the wonderful tub. So well priced and worth more in my opinion.

Our hostess was terrific, so helpful and great to talk to. The B room has an amazing mural on the wall and is clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and more than plentiful. Dorrine provided free bikes for the stay and we used them to cruise around town and to nearby Damme. The area where this is located is just a bit out of the very touristy part of town, which is perfect. We love Bruges and hope to return soon and stay here again.

You will fall in love with Brugges - more so if you stay here - because Dorrine will ensure you do! We stayed here for 4 nights and it was more than a wonderful experience - it was beautiful!! Dorrine is an engaged host & she takes care of you so wonderfully! Her tips on where to visit - which local place is good for drinking & dining is valuable - they are so non touristy that we loved them! Thank you Dorrine! She gave us tips on small trips to coutry side & beach side - without these insider tips we would have missed these wonderful places! The B&B was the best experience so far - large rooms & attached bathrooms, separate kitchenette & sitting area - complete privacy and extremely clean and well kept! I loved the art on the walls as well - very different! conveniently located in a wonderful location by the canal - and has beautiful walk ways.Breakfast served by Dorrine was wonderful & fresh - we enjoyed it very much especially her Hot chocolate was the best so far! We had some beautiful moments in Brugges & I always give a small pat on my back to discover this place!! Till we meet again Dorrine over some Rum - cheers!!
