We were lucky enough to get a 3 bed dormitory with only us two in it. Clean, warm, showers and toilet fine. Had to arrive after midnight so given the nightcode and a secret place to find our key and sheets. The breakfast is a continental buffet, perfectly fine.

I was here for a school trip in June 2011. Wonderful accommodation and great value for money. I didn't particularly like the food provided due to allergies, but they did a vegetarian option as well. Just back from a long weekend "beer tasting" with three friends. We shared a 4 berth room with bunk beds facing the front of the building. Initial thoughts were good walking throught the airy aitruim to the reception. What I look for in a hostel is for it to be safe so you're not worried about being robbed, and clean. The room was cramped with six beds (might have been awkward if we weren't travelling as six people who all knew each other), and had an en suite bathroom which was nice. A very good place to be while in Gent. Great location, ample breakfast (though to be enjoyed before 09:30 AM) and clean amenities. Would most surely come here again.

It's a good hostel for the average backpacker. We had a room for 4 persons and beds were bunk beds, which was ok. Recommended if you're looking for a place to sleep in, rather than stay in. Just 1 minute walk from the Ghent's castle, 5-10 mins from the rest. Breakfast included.

Really disappointed with our choice of sleeping in this hostel while travelling to Holland. Yes it's in the centre and you can easily reach everything by walking. But my god, the room was so basic, so old and yes the shower/bathroom made us feel like we were in jail! Skip the breakfast as there's nothing really special there.
