My husband and I traveled with our two mothers to this gracious hotel earlier this month. I had been in touch with the staff a number of times before our arrival and they were very prompt and courteous in getting back to me with answers to my questions. It was difficult to find accommodations with two bedded rooms in Gent... More

I was travelling in Ghent for a one day trip alone. I booked the room on the internet and the service was great. I wrote emails on few occasions toask questions and they replied promptly. The hotel is well located in Ghent, from 5 to 10 minutes to city center. The hotel is quiet and the room was very clean... More

Had a great time at the Hotel Onderbergen in Gent! It’s a really lovely hotel, very unique, modern en-suite rooms with cable/satellite television channels, desk and minibar. Spotless. The hotel is quiet, beautiful décor and only down the road from the Saint Bavo Cathedral and 2 minutes' walk from the Veldstraat. Delicious full Irish breakfast downstairs in Foleys Irish Pub... Nice, big and clean room with an individual style but without too much clutter. Friendly staff. The only downside is the breakfast which has to be eaten at the pub next to the hotel. Nothing wrong if you have enough time but if you don't have much time, it's not ideal: you have to order your breakfast of choice and... More

We were in Ghent for a romantic getaway just the two of us and had picked this hotel because it seemed friendly, cosy and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was none of that. We had ordered a double room with a double bed, but when we arrived found that our room had a twin bed that was pushed together. When we complained... More

The staff were very helpful and friendly, they answered all our questions and queries before we arrived and whilst we were there. The family room was very large ( 1 double bed, 2 singles and bunk beds) and had really comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant was good and they welcomed our 3 children. We parked in a car... Only a few minutes walk into the old town along the canal. Two minutes for the main shopping area too so location is excellent. Our room (8) was right at the top and the end of a corridor so we heard no noise from any other guests or street traffic. Very comfy, huge bed and clean, modern rooms. Definitely recommend... More

This place was just what my small group of 5 friends needed. The room had 2 queen/king ish sized beds and bunk beds. The bunk beds were really need in that you could fold the top bunk up and stash it against the wall. It was in walking distance of tons of places. The nearby car park was reasonably priced.... More

This bed and breakfast was really worth the money spent. It is quite centrally located in Ghent. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very kind and pleasant. I would recommend it for a weekend break.
