The hotel is extremely modern which almost didn't seem quite right for the charm of Amsterdam itself. If I had to sum up the atmosphere in one word, it would be sterile. It is very clean. very nice place, big room with wonderfoul viewing on the city from the higher floor. Not so far from the central station (10 min walking time) and a taxi stop is in front of the entrance, and a free shuttle bus depart every 30 min in early morning and late evening from the hotel to the station and back.
