I loved my stay at Sunhead of 1617. The location is ideal, the room was great, and the breakfast divine. Carlos is a wonderful host - so warm and funny. This B&B cannot be beat. If you come to Amsterdam, stay at Sunhead. You won't be disappointed!

Sunhead is a great B&B. It is VERY conveniently located in Amsterdam, only a 15 minute walk from the train station is a nice quiet neighborhood. The 3 course breakfasts prepared by Carlos were scrumptious! Only drawback are the steep stairs but the lovely rooms and view were worth it.

What can we add to the other reviews? It was a great stay with Carlos and Roelf-Jan, they made us feel very welcome and we loved the time at breakfast, enjoying the superb smoothies, scrambled eggs and mousses, while listening to Carlos' entertaining stories.
