Like: Very well situated and easy to find. Not as big but with a wide variety of room choice. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast OK. Dislike: sometimes You can miss to find your room, but it doesn't strains. Possible parking problems.

The Ambassade is located directly on the Herrengracht and is central to most destinations (and a 10 minute taxi ride or 20 minute walk to the Museumplein). Very nice hotel, all the rooms are different, very nice decorated. A lot of art on the walls in the hallways. Staff are such good hosts. You can ask then anything and they help you with everything. The library is a must to see. All the writers who stayed in the hotel left a signed book.

Right smack in the middle of the city and walking distance from a lot of cool little cafes and restaurants.staff was extremely friendly and helpful.In comparison of to other hotels in Europe, room was big and very clean. Will definitely go back if I ever visit Amsterdam again.

Thi was my third stay at the Ambassade. Everythig was excellent. The hotel is on a very attractive section of the beautiful Herengrach canal. We stayed 5 night in a room on the top floor, overlooking the canal. The location could not have been better - close to everything but very calm and quiet, away from the buzz of the city. The room was very nice, comfortable, bathroom with two sinks and good water pressure in the shower. Wifi was free and worked well.... More
