“beware terrible service”

we booked and payed our reservation over one month ago. we flew for 14 hours from mexico to get to zurich, when we arrived the manager said that the room was not available and they were overbooked. there where at least 10 people in the lobby that they did the same thing. they took us to a horrible hotel. the... “Christmas break in Zürich”

We chose this hotel as it is near the lake. The rooms are quite small, but with nice balconies and side views of the lake (the hotel is not on the lake front itself). The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very nice and the hotel bar/restaurant are comfortable and atmospheric.

“lots of nice touches”

Good location for this hotel; overall I was impressed by the little touches. Bathroom is very small but nicely appointed. Welcome drink (prosecco) in the bar. Good restaurant (Quaglino's) in the hotel in case you don't want to venture out at all. Windows very solid so no noise from the street at all. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.
