Ibis offered a comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Bathroom was modern but the hair dryer was basically a hose with hot air pushed through it, not great for styling. Hotel Ibis Locarno is ideally situated in the center of town, two blocks to the lake, and two blocks to Piaza Grande. The staff is very helpful, very welcoming. Whenever we go to Locarno we stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and standard. The price is really good for Switzerland and you are within walking distance to restaurants, the lake and shopping. The customer service is always nice and friendly and the wireless internet in the lounge area works well.
