I booked Hotel Alpina and got free upgrade to Hotel Monopol！(so I'm actually reviewing Monopol but they are right next door to each other) Fantastic location, right around the corner of railway station, and minutes away from the lake and places of interest. The hotel is extremely close to Luzern main station which was extremely convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. The was nobody at the front reception as we had to check in at a different hotel. Not too bad given that we were only staying for one night. We would definitely use this hotel again!!!

5 minute walk from the central station, always a help with heavy luggage. Stayed 1 night, room was a decent size, bathroom basic but very adequate. Breakfast was next door in the adjacent nicer and more expensive hotel, with all staff very nice and helpful.
