We´ve booked to go to Hotel Edelweiss Geneve. When we got there was an overbooking. They send us for Epsom hotel, that was lucky of us. This is a 4 star hotel (that I remember) very close to the train station. Since we was eurorailing that was great. The only problem in Geneve is the amount of prostitutes in the...

This is a nice hotel very close to the lake about 7 min walk. The area around the hotel has lots of restaurants but at night you do see women that are hanging around the streets with skimpy clothes on and guys stopping and asking them questions that i will leave to the imagination. I wouldnt recommend ladies walking around...

I don't know if we got upgraded or what - but we stayed in a great room for a great price. It had a balcony and lots of windows. Also, the toilet was in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom - which I like. The room was relatively large. For Europe, the fitness room was good. The...

We stayed here for a long weekend in December. The hotel seemed quiet although had a nice cosy atmosphere. The service was very good from start to finish. Everybody was helpful and attentive. We didn't eat in the hotel but we did visit the bar a couple of times - the barman again was helpful and brought drinks over to...

I would probably give this hotel a 3.5 to 4 stars. I booked Hotel Epsom because of their Prepay and Save promotion for one Saturday night in November. I picked this beacuse after looking at the available hotels for the prices, Hotel Epsom and Royal gave me a much better deal than some hotels with poor reviews on Tripadvisor that...

Travelled to Geneva as a couple for a pre-visit, before taking up employment.
The hotel itself was nice and conveniently located in the Paquis district. Be warned that it is close to the RLD. However, it feels a bit like the Latin Quarter in Paris, with some good of restaurants and bars.
We both found the room to be extremely...

Have stayed at the Jade nearby (same chain - Manotel). The Epsom has another star - which is mainly reflected in the price.
Service was good - staff were helpful and pleasant at all times. The room was OK but the bathroom was kind of small and poorly designed. There's a medium-sized fitness center in the basement. Did not have...

After having a couple of bad experiences with hotels in Geneva I stayed in Epsom, and what a difference.
Hotel is conveniently located right downtown Geneva, just outside of red light district - so be warned if you wander a few blocks in the wrong direction.
Rooms are good size and clean, with modern feel and comfortable bed.
Service is...
