“Great small, family-run hotel”

Great personal service with new contemporary rooms. Good location and the free tram tickets are very useful. Free wifi. Absolutely no downside. The staff has good knowledge and advice for Basel. The manager, Julian, is very responsive.

“Great weekend in Basel”

We chose Hotel D for a family weekend in Basel. It is centrally located, close to public transportation with great shopping and restaurants in the nearby area. It's a boutique hotel nicely designed with young and helpful staff where breakfast is just perfect! Highly recommanded!

Hotel D. is centrally located in the ancient part of Basel, with all major places of interest at walking distance. This beautiful boutique hotel has thought of everything. Perfect use of space in the nicely designed rooms. Wonderful breakfast, and Helpful front desk service. Took a peak into their gym&sauna, which look great. Perfectly located, walking distance from main attractions, and free public transport passes brings up this excellence to the top! Hotel D scores 10 out of 10. Very convenient location in the city center, spacious parking facility around the corner. Nice, comfortable and clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Excellent price/quality ratio.

This hotel is modern and ideal for business, and pleasure, in an around Basel. The service was efficient and friendly. The nearby amenities are good if one wants to dine, shop etc. The old town and museums are well within walking distance. I will definitely stay there when back.

Nice Hotel which I have stayed in several times. The rooms are modern and pleasant although some of them can be quite small, almost claustrophobic. I choose bigger rooms when I book now.
