We stayed there while travelling around Tuscany. This hotel has got car park which is good if you have got a car. The staff are good host and helpful. The only thing is rooms are too small and a bit noisy but we did not mean it since we stayed just two days. The view of Tuscany hill is amazing!!! More

The hotel has its own parking, which is included in the price. This is important if you are travelling by car and do not want to stay inside the ZTH. From our window we had a very nice view of Sienna. Also the guys at the reception were nice and breakfast was the regular average Italian breakfast. There is a... More

When we got there we had been put in ground floor room overlooking carpark. We asked to change and were given one on first floor with spectacular view but very small. Staff were friendly and helpful. Internet was slow and intermittent. Breakfast was average. The coffee was filtered and had frothy milk added to look like a real cappucino. Rest... More

We booked last minute a three beds room. We found the hotel easily and we were very happy with the room and facilities. it was great to have parking so close to the main square (10 minutes walking). The lady at reception gave us a nice map and some short guide on how o get to the main sites. Very... More

Very nice staff, and a great view to the valley. The free parking is a great advantage, since you can walk to sienna and not bother about where to park the car. The walk to city is not 10 minutes, but 15-20 if you want to reach the real center. but it is a pleasant walk. The breakfast was one... More

Slightly more expensive than our usual budget but worth every euro. Don't pay for wifi code as there is a room with free computer and Internet access. Breakfast in garden is good. Nice walk to old city and centre. Shuttle bus as well. More

Siena is a great place for a couple of nights. The Porta Romana is about 800 metres from Il Campo which takes 10 or 15 minutes to get to. Add another five, if you want the Duomo. There is loads to see, eat and drink and the room is only there for sleeping and freshening up. Siena is built on... More

Porta Romana Hotel is in good position looking south over Tuscan hills and olive groves. Quiet and peaceful terrace with loungers and shade. Breakfast adequate and served in garden (shelter available if required) Our two double rooms were in a separate building away from main hotel. They were well decorated and modern but there was an occasional bad smell from... More
