We stayed here for three nights and we found the place quiet, peaceful, and beautifully located high in the hills of Tuscany. We found the location to a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Venice and other cities. We could read a book in the outdoor garden, take a nap in the lobby or just visit in the beauty... More

Dear guest, I personally thank you for the kind words. I’m happy you enjoyed the stay with us, as well the hotel facilities and the restaurant. We wish your suggestions will invite Americans to come and visit us. Sorry to be late in replying, due to the hard work. Regards. Paola Verdolini, reception More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday. It had been built up by our tour company but was very definitely NOT worth the ride up the hill in 35degree heat. Service was friendly enough (in a grumpy, Italian sort of way), but on our second night at dinner it took half an hour to take... More

I regret you didn’t find what you were expecting from the hotel where staying after kilometres of cycling tours. Out of the way but that's what we wanted. Lovely restaurant. Friendly staff. Rooms OK.....But why do you have to charge for the (extra) swimming towels? More

Dear guest, thank you for the kind attention and for the lovely comments. Extra charge for the pool towels is required because it is not included in the room rate. In the most, guests have their own. Paola Verdolini, in charge of reception More

This hotel was listed as a 3 star hotel. Traveling from Los Angeles, USA with very high expectations I was unsatisfied with most of the 4 star hotels in Italy until I reached this hotel! This hotel deserve to be listed as a 4 star. Facility was great including free Wi-Fi, clean air conditioned rooms, and and a nice pool.... More

We enjoyed our week at Le Renaie - it's quiet, out of the way, with pleasant staff and decent food. However, the sense we got was of some renovation needing doing - the air conditioning never quite got working properly, and the food, though good, wasn't the gastronomic delight that I think it has been previously. So...good, but not great.... More

We stayed here as we were joining our son later on in the week to attend his wedding. The place is so different from a bucket and spade holiday. It was so peaceful that at first my husband was whispering all the time. You must get a balcony room as the views are to die for and the smell of... More

A nice clean hotel, with friendly staff and good food. It was far enough off the main road so that you could relax without the hustle and bustle of traffic and other holiday makers. The selection of wines was excellent and if in doubt ask one of the waiters to guide you through the selection, but beware, some wines are... More

We stayed at Hotel le Renaie for 14 nights for a very special reason, it was our honeymoon. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location in the middle of the Tuscan countryside in the small village of Pancole, about 10 minutes from San Gimignano by car. Admittedly there is not much within walking distance of the hotel apart from... More

This is a pleasant hotel in the village of Pancole, about 5 km from the hill towns of San Gimignano and Certaldo. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms are simply furnished, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was a bit noisy, but did the job. Breakfast buffet was excellent. In the evening, we ate one night at the hotel, and... More
